Our main goal is to help horses gain hoof health and soundness, with a tangential goal of giving owners hope and educating the public to allow for soundness sustainability.
Help Rescues and Privately Owned Horses Return to Soundness
PROGRAM
We incorporate a whole horse rehabilitation program, with a forage-based, mineral-balanced diet alongside increased movement on a track system to strengthen caudal hoof structures. Some horses may also need glue on shoe packages or collaboration with veterinarians for hoofcare.
TARGET POPULATION
This program is ideal for horses with distal limb lameness and hoof pathologies that have not benefitted from outpatient services such as corrective shoeing, injections, stall rest, etc.
ADDITIONAL THERAPIES
The Humble Horse, Inc. has relationships with veterinary practices, bodyworkers, chiropractors, and other equine professionals to give horses the best chance at rehab success.
